Or... Maybe this camp is about having fun?
My kid played football in a league to have fun, not to prepare for his future career in Professional Football.
What if maybe this camp is just about getting some young kids in front of a camera and by the end of the week, they have a few videos they can watch themselves and show a couple of their friends?
My kid might enjoy it, not sure. I know they had fun making a youtube video at home once just for fun and to see it on youtube.
And the price is not that much higher than the "horse camp" and "paintball camp" I signed my kids up for this summer (around $700 each for a week?). Of course, I fully expect to get that back when my kids make a ton of money with equestrian and military jobs when they grow up (/sarcasm).

Your parent isn't talking about law. They are talking about the hypocrisy of this base issue...
"Don't make me do what I don't want to do"

Baker doesn't want to bake a cake that violates what they believe is right (they considered it a sin).
Facebook doesn't want to allow postings that violate what they believe is right (they consider the speech immoral).

Apparently it is ok to force the baker to do something they disagree with, but it isn't ok to force Facebook to do something they disagree with. Again, moral related... not law related. You kind of defended a moral discussion based on law. Your parent was more discussing the moral hypocrisy than just interpreting law.

Same boat as you, but we need to go one step further. For those of us who know the proper way to use credit cards, many only GIVE you "cash" back.
Amazon Visa - 2% restaurants always (3% on Amazon)
Chase and Discover - Rotating 5% back on some categories

That is free money.

Personal note... cash is just too much of a hassle for me. I don't like always having to make sure I have enough in my wallet and dealing with change, so we usually just do credit card. I haven't run into any issues with companies knowing what I spend my money on. In some cases I get relevant coupons that actually help.

This game is definitely of a slower pace. Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but I've enjoyed that pace just fine.

Besides fast travel, you also have "Cinematic Travel"... it is basically auto-steer... set a waypoint, and you can set the controller down and enjoy the (very well done) scenery as it takes you to your destination. I've not seen that in a game before, but I don't play a ton of games, so it has probably been done before.

FYI, everyone, they are all like this. Managers at this level can rationalize ANYTHING. I've seen managers rationalize leaving work to put there kids to bed, then returning to work. I've seen managers rationalize when their kids are in college telling them "you always put your job ahead of your kids".

This kind of sums things up nicely for the middle manager part...

You kind of made one of the obvious counter arguments to your own post by leaving out a key word in this sentence. You really meant to say...

Likewise, if get pissed at google play, i can get *Android* apps somewhere else.

Because if you don't have the word Android in there, or "iPhone" in Apple's case, things fly completely out the window.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out because saying someone has a monopoly on "iPhone Apps" seems like a bit of a stretch to me.
