Much like what K says: "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it.".
I think it's always been this way, but the Internet (FB particularly) has enabled "people" to have a voice they would not have otherwise had.
I appreciate that FB is trying to help silence the dumb, panicky and dangerous posts, but I suppose we will always have it - I don't see it being successful in the long run. It's disheartening knowing this is the case, but I suppose it's good knowing how dumb the general public can be. Observing things like this helps to spot them and perhaps help educate them. Maybe?
But the real truth? Over half the country just flat doesn't want him as president anymore. It's that simple.
Just to be clear, over half of the country didn't want him as president the first time around either.
I've been programming in multiple languages for decades, and Scala, while the academic goals were admirable, has resulted in a mess of a language - to the point of where you need a syntax analyzer to understand what was written. Therefore, a pointless language. We started using it in some projects where I work, and now they are going back to Java - because it's unmaintainable.
Virus was there way before test kit were released. I'm not surprised if 30 % of Americans got it in December / January. I suspect that I got it in early January, 1 week of intense symptoms almost wanted to go to the hospital.
And you can verify this hypothesis? Your post is invalid unless you can verify that you actually had it. My wife had something pretty bad for a while in December too. I didn't develop anything from her sickness. I'm in the high-risk category. It crossed my mind that she had COVID, but I don't think it was.
No doubt they gave the ECU and other low level system programming jobs to proper engineers
You have WAY too much faith in the automotive industry.
Make sure your code does nothing gracefully.
