I am much more concerned with my tax reports than browser history. I dont care fuck all if someone knows that I had slashdot, arstechnica and newscientist opened last session. If you browse porn sites in a non anonymous session, you do it wrong.

It protects from radiation POISONING, not radiation exposure. Unless you are willing to wear a couple feet thick concrete vest, you will be exposed to harmful radiation. The best method to mitigate it, is to limit exposure (see how workers of Chernobyl cleaned the roof of the reactor, good read).

In a dirty bomb, I am much more afraid of the radioactive dust (plutoium is SO bad for you... Cobalt-60 IDK) thanb radioactivity by itself. I can always go to my basement survival room for a couple day and be rescued, but it lacks fine particle filtering.

Try adding a layer of electrical tape inside the buttons. I suspect the plastic on the switches wears off from friction with the buttons. I did that to an OLD mouse 7 years ago, and it still works like a charm.

Bought a cheap (4.99$) optical mouse 6 years ago, still works just as new, except for the occasional lint/hair stuck under the sensor.

I remember paying 117$+tax for a trackman marble fx (logitech) in 1998. Still works perfectly today, easy on the wrist and enough buttons to have fun. The only downside is its PS/2, not USB...
