I'm actually glad this happened. People need to realize that [quality] software development is a skill that should be paid for. Too often entire business sites/models are founded on using the free hard work of other people. I rely on some open source stuff, but it's not mission critical stuff. We use software that came with a license, that has an 800 number on the other end if something bad happens.

Besides the giant hole in your "dragging mouse" not being the same as "a gesture" thing and the even bigger "unlocking" doesn't equate to "changing state", you do realize there there is still a "pointer" in the operating system, so it knows where you're clicking/dragging/swirling? They just hid it. Every once in a while it shows up on my Android in the web browser.

I realized before I signed up with comcast that break even point on buy/rent modem is 2 years. Best Buy offers a 2 year extended warrantee on most electronics. It's been 3 years and my modem is still ticking (rent free).
