If you call memset on some allocated memory and then free that memory, what (apart from clearing sensitive data from physical RAM) functional difference does removing the call to memset make? None?

It depends why you're hiring an American to do your security audit.
Is it stupid for someone in China to hire an American to look for back-doors that may have been added by a Chinese Government agency?
Why does it rule those countries out?
You you perform your audits in all 3 countries, the only things being missed are backdoors put in by all 3 securities agencies cooperating together.
Add in China or some other "we don't like USA" country and you get better odds.
You didn't check any of those "free energy" campaigns did you? They're all actually scams.
The first one scammed $18k
The second one is only at 100 euros
The third one, which isn't anything more that a stone reached $1166
Indie gogo flexible funding campaigns are totally legit

Yeah, people like browsing book stores.
Not so many people like buying books at book stores.
Exactly
If we meet $180.000
We can start our international fundraising with cool heads, in our new offices in the Silicon Valley: The recruiting process kicks off; We get our names out there and make sure Skylys® is everyones favorite topic; Our 1/10th scale model and our 3D animated model will be finalized in order to start our international marketing campaign.
Basically, as soon as they get enough money, they're going to blow it all on fancy Silicon Valley office space.
What happens at $500.000?
We chose a larger office space to accommodate the automobile and aeronautic engineers. Thus creating more jobs and a larger visibility on the project. We quickly commence technical & mechanical specification validation for the different modules. International presence on various exhibitions.
More money, bigger offices.
At least they're honest.
They don't promise to work on physical prototypes until $8M
But they built a 10th scale model!
Physics and fluid dynamics obviously scale perfectly.
My 16th scale RC car goes 65kph. There are full size electric cars with motors no larger than a microwave that go 1000kph all over the place.
Wait a minute...
Despite the fact that most flexible funding indiegogo projects are scams and unless you donate huge amounts of money you get nothing of value back?
Stealing a phone doesn't get you 5 years in jail
So take stolen iPhone and broken iPhone, swap ROM chips and you have a working one again.
Phones with blocked IMEI's still have value as parts. Screens are commonly broken and people will pay $50 to get a new one for their $500 phone. You could make them impossible to disassemble without destroying everything of value, but then people will complain they can't fix their own stuff.
It's pretty obvious what is meant is he has no way to control the operation of the radio while it is on, but can turn it off at will.
Which is how it should be. A misbehaving cellphone radio can disrupt other users. If you wanted to change how it works, you'd need to change the frequency, because you'd no longer have a license to operate it.
Its all about what clothes Kate Middleton is wearing on her tour of New Zealand with some balding Brittish guy these days.
The minority who buy books at book shops.
Again you're adamant that it has nothing to do with the license, except it still states on the clang website that it was one of the reasons for its existence.
Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity. They seem more afraid of life than death. -- James F. Byrnes
