assuming you only plug it in to charge once a day ...

If, like me, you use your phone throughout the day, letting it sip juice while stopped at my desk for 10 or 15 minutes several times a day, the time savings adds up; not to mention the wear and tear on the port that isn't happening and when i leave the office it's usually got a decent charge left.

In addition since going to cordless charging I've never once forgotten to unplug the cord and accidentally yanked it out of the port or the wall

heavier than air flight(airplanes)

splitting the atom (Hiroshima)

going to the moon(the apollo missions)

electric cars(Tesla/ Fisker)

Pretty much every technological advance ever ... and people are working on developing practical flying cars and Elon Musk plans on building the submarine car ...

so yeah you MUST be right... none of these things will ever happen.

...to be treated as such:. It's worse than that. After once being treated as an expendable asset, the smart ones internalize the lesson that it's "just a job no matter where you go" and the lack of investment carries over to subsequent employers. Ultimately the entire workforce becomes tainted by the shitty HR policies in use today.

It simply illustrates that some people are starting to understand what many of us already know ... our democracy is broken and we can't trust it to fulfill it's basic functions anymore. The next step is to jump on the anti-government bandwagon and acknowledge that our government is abusive and we're one small step short of an oppressive police state.

And yes, Texas is very much like this ....
