This comes right after the announcement by several telephone companies that they wanted to charge extra for using voip services like Skype and Viber or messaging services like Whatsapp and ping. If this bill passes — and the chances seem very high that it will -, it would make The Netherlands the second country where net neutrality is guaranteed by law, after Chile.
