The Ruble is also at an all time high because Russia is losing the war and their economy is in tatters.
In 2012 1 ruble was 3 cents
Now it's about 1.5 cents
What "all time high" are you talking about?
The French are subsidising each new reactor to the tune of 4-6 billion Euros.
And you can provide some reliable source for this figure?
French nuclear reactors are paid for by EDF using money raised from bonds.
EDF gets no money from the French state, it in fact massively subsidises the state by paying huge yearly dividends.
Electricity first, then ethics.
I think you don't know what "ethics" means.
The whole point of the 737 MAX was to lie, to say it was the same plane as all the other 737s so no expensive pilot training was necessary.
The pilots would have had to be trained to use MCAS.
But the whole point of the 737 MAX was to avoid pilot training.
"In fact, the in-service reliability of the 737 MAX is consistent with other commercial airplane models," the spokeswoman said. "Since November 2020, the 737 MAX has flown more than 1.5 million flight hours in more than 580,000 revenue flights. The overwhelming majority of these flights have been conducted without any incident."
Yow! way more than half of the people who flew a 737 MAX are still alive!
Nuclear's problem is almost entirely financial at this point. It's just too expensive.
Ok, let's not do nuclear then.
We'll all be dead, but at least we'll still have lots of money.
Don't know what dead people are supposed to do with money though.

There's your problem, right there.
A market economy without competition is not a market economy.
And that doesn't even need Starlink.
and should give better bandwidth, lower pings and less jitter. The thing about fibre is that it is cheaper than DSL or Coax.
It isn't profitable for say AT&T, to run a fiber line to the middle of nowhere (insert state).
Do most of those places have mains electricity? Landline phones?
