Yes, along with everyone else in the world, I've reviewed V for Vendetta. The summary is: if you havent seen it yet, and you're reading this, STOP. Go and see the movie instead of reading my review - the movie is worth it.

Ok, I've got a tech question for anyone reading this. Is it possible to build a RAID array using identical USB hard drives? Software RAID, under Linux, I'm guessing.

Can it be done?

I saw Date Movie on Sunday, and wrote up a little review of it. Check it out.

Ok, my wife and I are going to transform our living room into a gaming room. Already got a projector and the game systems, but we need a good entertainment center or stand or WHATEVER to hold all the consoles! I've yet to see a good one. And, since we're projecting, it cant be too tall, or it will get in the way.

Anyone with suggestions?

CmdrTaco lost his mind, and agreed to let me interview him for zZine. I think it went really well - his answers were all excellent.

Well... sort of. I now have a weekly op-ed column in zZine Magazine, called Ravn's Rants and Ravings. The first was published this past monday. You can check it out Here. Please, remember, it is an op-ed. Basically, that means its me talking out of my ass, much as I do here in my journal - do not take it overly seriously.

I LOVE strategy games. Always have, always will. I think the original Civilization is the best game ever made. #2: StarCraft.

But what happened? Where did they all go? And no, I DONT want to play another medieval/roman/whateverhistoricalcrap strategy game. I'm talking about Dune, Warcraft, Warwind, Starcraft. I want an RTS with a bunch of factions with cool storylines, lots of single player missions, and a minimal amount of micromanagement.

I have yet to find a good RTS game since StarCraft (warcraft 3 was... ok. but too many RPG elements for me)

I just bought Earth 2160, and I have high hopes for it... but, does anyone have anything they can suggest? Are there good RTS games out there that I'm missing?

Lately, I've been thinking that the success of my group (CyberArmy Advanced Hardware Projects - aka CAAHP, viewable at http://www.caahp.com), has been hurt by the fact that it is part of the organization CyberArmy.

Granted, the group wouldnt exist at all without them - I wouldnt have started it. However, CA has a negative stigma attached to it in a lot of circles, not to mention the fact that the people who join CA (and sub-CA groups like mine) are all coders, and not really hardware people.

Would CAAHP be better off leaving CA and becoming just a stand-alone hardware group? What do you guys think?

So, I was feeling quite bored today, and decided to do something I'd never done before: purposefully troll

I've got to say, I was pretty successful. I've, so far, gotten a few excellently angry replies making a wide assortment of very incorrect assumptions and personal attacks! Great fun!

And the post hasnt even been modded as troll or flamebait yet! Fantastic :)

Ok guys, I need a list of good Punk songs to drive to. Of course, I mean FAST driving ;)

It doesnt have to be about driving, though of course thats a bonus, and the faster the better.
