Programming is very easy, but requires math and logic skills.

I agree that learning the basics of programming is easy. But, like with any other trade, becoming a good programmer requires the right kind of motivation, curiosity, attention to detail, and desire to improve one's craft.

In my experience people who say "Programming is easy" are usually the ones you don't want to having working with you on a project.

Programming is a craft. You have to love doing it to be good at it.

Submission + - iPad 2-player "face to face" games (versuspad.com) 1

j_philipp writes: "For almost a year now I've been working on iPad 2-player "one shared device" games, a genre I'm absolutely in love with. The games are still all free, for now. Recently, I've switched to the terrific Corona framework, a middleware which makes it very easy to utilize things like a physics engine (Box2D), and do other game-related stuff. Before that, I used PhoneGap, meaning some of the other games are based on JavaScript and HTML (you can glean the full source of one of the games on the site). This week my new game, Siege Towers, got released. If you're a developer pondering your next project, maybe you can give Corona a try... a pretty fun framework."

Warning. Shameless plug.

If you're into generated music, then you'll probably like auto-composed tone-matrix music. I just happen to have written a game that does that :)

Do you know John Conway's Game of Life? It's a cellular automata game. I've combined that with a standard tone-matrix interface to create music that essentially breeds new generations of itself.

And, just to make sure that pseudo-chaotic music actually sounds good, I framed everything in a pentatonic scale.

IT ought rightly be a strategic element of any business and can be transformed to become a competitive differentiator — if you're up for the challenge.

I love that tool!

If it weren't for Inkscape I'd have no graphics at all in my wii homebrew projects.

I'm no imaging wiz, but I found Inkscape to be very usuable and powerful (for the kind of art I was looking for).

Congrats on the new release!
