Not sure I agree with the article but it does remind me of a large company I worked for. I was looking to switch positions within the same company, the new position paid significantly more but company policy for a lateral move was that your salary stayed the same. So in order to actually make forward salary progress you had to quit.

Sure, the credit card idea, seems sound, it's not like you can access valid credit card info anywhere online...after they complete this project they should solve Mozilla’s decentralize the internet challenge then figure out how to stream music online without it being downloadable, cheers mate!

Someone made a point earlier that is seems like Netflix cancels its most expensive shows regardless of quality.

Marco Polo - gone, expensive
Sense8 - gone, expensive (season 2, per episode price - 9 Million)
The Get Down - gone, expensive

So, they have finally figured out how to profit as an escort service. In my experience a majority of messages are like this, "I am sweet and sxxy ge with big heart who want to spend great time with you...", "I LOVE HAVING FUN with a REAL MAN!!!", etc...

Holy crap, if this is true I would think that congestion traffic is the least of your worries...

Yet, in web apps, language execution speed is almost never the bottleneck, it's almost always database related, network, dns, etc.
