For Windows 7:
Start Menu -> Right Click "Computer" -> "Manage" -> Device Manager (under system tools) -> Mice and other pointing devices -> Right click on your laptop's touchpad and click "Disable".
Make sure you've got another mouse to control the computer with after doing this

Well, the reason it takes the cake for me was the basic geometric pattern recognition failure. Sphere != Triangle!
Not only that, but the summary goes so far as to call it a "Triangle-shaped Spot". Words fail to describe how I feel after reading that atrocity.

I remember watching CNN on a night when I knew that the protests were occurring, and not one mention was made, so it's really not surprising people haven't heard about them.
