the words are being added to fundamentally change what is already there.

Does the meaning of "the People" change depending on which amendment you are reading? or does "the people apply the same throughout the entire document?

if the first is true okay, than it isn't a fundamental change.

but if the second is true than it is changing the meaning of the 2nd (not clarifying) by adding those words to specify a class of people. meaning the other 3 amendments need to change what "the people" means.

Submission + - When Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars comes across a real Chromebook (muktware.com)

sfcrazy writes: I have become addicted to the Pawn Stars and do enjoy it a lot. I admire the owner of the shop Rick Harrison who has immense knowledge and great skills to spot fake. Unfortunately, for him, I was surfing the net I came across Microsoft’s propaganda website Scroogled News and there was an ad by Microsoft featuring the Pawn Stars team. I wondered what would happen if a real customer walks into the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop with her Chromebook. From what I have learned about Ricks’ family and the show, I think this is how things will unfold in the ‘real’ life. So here is a fantasy piece on what would happen if Rick does come across a Chromebook.

Submission + - Kickstarted Veronica Mars promised digital download. Pirate bay delivers. (theguardian.com)

ConfusedVorlon writes: Backers were promised 'You will receive a digital version of the movie within a few days of the movie’s theatrical debut'.

Warner Bros are providing a non-downloadable ultra-violet coupon (although Veronica Mars is available for download through other stores).

The download is already available on the Pirate Bay. The download is even available on commercial stores. The users have already passed over their $35+
But rather than meet the demand for a DRM-free download, Warner Bros would prefer to return the original pledge to backers who complain (no doubt pissing them off even more).

What does this tell us about how movie studios view the world? There can't be a better indication of willingness to pay than 'they have already paid' — are these the pirates WB fears?

I think the hate is for the unnecessary and repugnant DRM they are going to force on their consumers in the next incarnation of the product. Personally the DRM guarantees I will not be upgrading, I like my Dunkin Donuts coffee and i'm sure they will be considered a knock off as there are limited places to purchase them. They must be feeling the pain of the K-cups being made by everyone. Although I'm not sure as a company that implementing DRM is the best way for them to go, I see lots of customer complaints happening after release.. (what do you mean I can only use green mountain coffee brands?) then they will go and my the mister coffee k-cup machine that doesn't have DRM in it.

The will of the people ? People want access to firearms for many reasons this just makes it easier for someone with the available cash to purchase a printer and materials to create something for themselves.

The graphic specs have a noticeable difference in their capabilities. the PS4 is far superior in the graphics department then the XB1. I found the Kinect to decent (at least for the games I have played with it) but I do not like the always listening part of the new connect. The DRM was just plain stupid as the backlash started over a year ago when the rumors first came out that they were going to tank the used games on the system. Why the expected it to get better once they announced it I'll never understand. It just allowed Sony and the PS4 to severely spank them at E3 this year by being that stupid.

I disagree being lazy has nothing to do with it. I have found many specialized software applications while appealing because they are designed for the niche market are too costly a) to purchase and b) to costly to maintain. some users wish they hadn't spent that much on it. I had an incident many years ago with a building company they asked me to sit in as a technical consultant on some presentations on job costing software. I knew his current setup for software. Both companies provided great pitches but cost wise one was $15,000 and $5-8,000 in maintenance fees per year and the other one was in the same realm but more expensive. After they left I told him technically both solutions would do the job he was looking for but require him to tie himself to their companies to continue using the software as once he stopped paying the maintenance fees the software would shut down. I suggested he wait a month and purchase the job costing software from quicken (would have tied nicely with his accounting software) and spend $99 a little additional customizing and it would do the same job. with no fees. He choose to go with the $15,000 solution and exactly a month later he received a postcard with the job costing software for $99 in the mail.
