Welcome to relevant market share.

We Linux guys got the problems long enough, i also had to reinstall a VM because i forgot to change a default password.

As far as i can tell as a non-american is that Fox News is a pretty lowly news outlet.

However that doesnt automaticly mean the story cant be true.

Just start assuming the opposite. "There are no duplicates within the millions of plants discovered." In a database of that size, with manually made entries for well over a 100 years, highly unlikely.

So, without further knowledge, one can only speculate about the percentage of duplicate entries.

Ubuntu is doing a lot of work on multitouch right now... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that at least some of these could have reasonably open drivers for their hardware.

The WeTab runs a modified version of MeeGo, but runs Ubuntu just as well. All the drivers work (including the Crystal HD decoder card). The hardware is pretty much identical to the ExoPC, so that should run Ubuntu just as well.

The news about Hawking's upcoming book challenges this argument, but unfortunately the article doesn't give details on why Hawking believes that the law of gravity proves that something can be created from nothing. If that can be proven (and I doubt it really can) then we can no longer prove that God exists with the above argument, and we are left with only faith.

Negating the thought with the time limit brought by the Uncertainty principle is impossible as the is no way of knowing if time even exists outside the boundaries of our universe.

Americans, huhu, you get it? You aint the world.
Android vs iOS seems neat.
Symbian only has 2% in the US but 40+% worldwide, so you may notice that this little proxy battle isnt concerning all to many people outside the US.
But well, Intel is american as well, so you might eventually get decent linux smartphones in the long run.

Sorry, but the US seems to be applying for third world nation status in mobile tech.

You know, not even half a year ago i read many comments from people claiming that traveling downwind faster than the wind was impossible using just the wind. Even from a lot of people with physics or engineering knowledge.

The idea that we have good understanding of the laws of the universe is laughable, even though many people believe it. Same mistake every generation has made.

There are many possible ways to break causality, ranging from additional dimensions to bending space time. Getting from A to B a lot faster than light is very well possible without moving faster than light.
