You learned not to touch hot things when you were a toddler. AT&T is one of those things that burn you. Pathetic you learned this now - I blame your parents.
And broken clocks tells the right time twice a day. How often do you expect the randomization could/would help rather than hinder bug zapping?
Bug reporting itself would become a much bigger problem due to the greater difficulty in reproducing them.
The story itself is interesting enough, opening it up to all kinds of hypothesis. Don't ruin it by adding the typically inane verbiage:
"Figuring out why certain strains of mice are more sedentary than others could help shed light on genetic differences between more active and sedentary people."
Waste not, get your budget cut next year.
