Yeah I mean too little too late, they've already scraped it and "new" content is dwindling.

I've also had several bad experiences lately where comments are flagged/deleted by mods telling me to "ask a new question" or "offer a bounty" or some nonsense. All I wanted to know was if the 5 month old poster with zero responses ever figured out the issue. I've been using the internet a long time, that works.

I also wonder what would have happened if Tesla focused on building great electric cars without all the self driving deception.

But the problem is being a "car company" doesn't get the stock juiced, and the absurdly high stock price was what afforded the the ability to do "big things" like the charger network.

So the "fraud" of FSD was an integral part of the success of the car division, even though I think they could have just focused on great, more affordable EV's and been quite successful but with less CEO pay packages.

While the theoretical problem of cap set was already solved, actual implementations used rudimentary "first fit" or "best fit" for bin selection/placement. Seems like the AI developed a custom heuristic search function that outperforms those human built fit ones.

Apparently the function is complex and they aren't even entirely sure what it is doing. To me this seems like a problem of overfitting. They trained the model on 4 synthetic test sets, and compared its performance on these same datasets. The millionth monkey managed to find a some great function parameters to minimize the objective function this particular dataset, not "universally solve" anything.

Maybe I'm wrong but that's how I read it. It did not seem clear that there was separate test sets it had never seen and compared to other methods.

I code in a multiple languages and too often am googling basic shit like "how to turn array into string" and just asking CoPilot to turn a specific array into a comma-delimited string and getting a working line of code back in milliseconds is absolutely helpful. For languages you barely know it's quite nice.

But, asking it to consume complex API's or write functions is definitely not great and buyer beware. It just starts spitting out useless/extemporaneous line after line.

There is not a single piece of software that generates any real economic value of any kind running on a blockchain.
