On the day of the eclipse we left Atlanta at 8 AM and reached Toccoa at around 12.

It is quite important that these patents are invalidated as soon as possible.
Wouldn't it be a good idea to set up a website where people can submit prior art to these specific patents?
Perhaps a site where also similar cases like this one can be handled?

For Barnes and Noble Microsoft is referring to the Nook E-reader which uses the Android operating system. The patents which Microsoft is referring to were not listed but are said to cover a range of functionality based on the user experience, more in the way a user interacts with the device.

Seven months after the surgery, the woman was at an organ transplant support group when she ate a peanut butter cookie and had a violent allergic reaction. So how had the woman's new lungs brought along a peanut allergy? A blog post dives into the medical details and explains that immune cells in the donated lungs couldn't have lived in the new body for long enough to cause the reaction... however, if they encountered an allergen (i.e. something peanuty) shortly after being transplanted, they could have trained the woman's native immune cells to respond."

In Sweden our version of ASCAP, STIM, has solved this "problem" by simply collecting royalties for music, even if the musician is _not_ a member of STIM.
They claim that it is "easier" to do so, and a musician that is not a member can always become a member and get the money afterwards.
However, if you become a member you basically give away all your commercial right to you music, past and present, to STIM. And that means bye-bye CC et al.

They estimate that 'the volume of high-level nuclear waste produced by all of France’s 58 reactors over the past 40 years could fit in one Olympic-size swimming pool.' And they're not the only ones trying to eliminate atomic waste: Researchers at the University of Texas in Austin are working on a fusion-fission reactor. The reactor destroys waste by firing streams of neutrons at it, reducing atomic waste by up to 99 percent!"

FBI Probing PA School Webcam Spy Case 312
On Thursday we discussed news that a Pennsylvania high school was spying on students through the webcams in laptops that were issued to the students. The FBI is now taking an interest in the case, investigating whether federal wiretap and computer-intrusion laws were violated in the process. "The FBI opened its investigation after news of the suit broke on Thursday, the law-enforcement official said. Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman may also investigate, she said Friday." Ferman said her office is "looking to see whether there are potential violations of Pennsylvania criminal laws."
