...Blockbuster announcement!
I know someday a Bollywood film with breakthrough...just TMK none has.
Satyajit Ray's Goopy and Bagha is pretty good

as you lost 1812.
I suppose commemorating getting booted out of another country you arrogantly invaded ("The acquisition of Canada this year will be a mere matter of marching" — Thomas Jefferson, or “We can take the Canadas without soldiers, we have only to send officers into the province and the people...will rally round our standard” — Henry Clay), having your presidential palace burned to the ground, being duped into disgracefully surrendering Detroit without a shot being fired, and failing to adequately defend your own territory, causing entire towns to be burned to the ground in retaliation for doing exactly that in your neighbor's country, is worthy of a license plate, if not a history lesson. https://youtu.be/Tq0LLB-X4is
...hand over that phone. We're going to check it for child pornography. We'll also peruse all your texts and chat feeds, just in case. We also need to have a look at all your contacts to make sure there aren't any known child molesters listed.
If being "a member of the real world" requires receiving ransom emails, I'll happily divorce myself reality.
I ignore 100% of this crap on my personal accounts, but it's hard to ignore on my corporate email, which I am required to forward to Infosec.
I didn't give all the details, but yes, it implied I was using a Windows box.
The email is real enough, but the claims it makes are bogus. First, I don't pleasure myself or surf porn at the office, and second, I use a Mac 95% of the time. When I do use Windows, which is relatively rarely, it's only for server administration, never for browsing or downloading. Third, we are compelled (which is a very good thing) to use Symantec Endpoint Protection, even on Macs. Fourth, nobody but nobody would want to "watch me for months." That just complete BS.
That's why OSX isn't a luxury. It's not that great. Also, you need it to run OSX programs, that's not luxury, it's a requirement.
OS X is deprecated and has been since 2020. macOS is now on version 13.

I get dividends from Apple, but I make far more money when the stock price rises.
...GoDaddy once and only once. Literally minutes after I registered a domain I was phished by what appeared to be a Russian operation, which seemed to already know way too much about me. I tried to report it to GD support, but its support site was unavailable and nobody would answer the phone. I immediately cancelled my GD account and changed all my login credentials.
I'm not at all shocked that this is only being reported now. It seems pretty obvious that there was an insider at GD.
...have kept my awesome Intel iMac to boot into Windows and play the games I love (though I also play some games in MacOS). For other stuff I use an M1 MacBook Air, which is serviceable for what I need it for when on the road, which is using VNC to log into my office Mac workstation. This system works just fine for me. Of course, eventually there will be Windows games that I won't be able to run well (high quality, 60 fps, 1440), but I'm happy with the excellent performance of the games I play now (Fallout 4, Skyrim, Cyberpunk 2077, Underworld Ascendant, Metro Exodus, Far Cry 5, Outer Worlds). There are plenty of games to choose from. I have no need for either a more powerful Mac, or a dedicated windows gaming PC at home.
PURGE COMPLETE.
