FL did it on the cheap and its the people under their trains that pay the price. CA HSR is not willing to do that - any high speed rail, by definition, should not be not at the mercy of anyone on foot or behind the wheel that puts themselves or their vehicle on the tracks and is then struck. FL does not serve the needs of people, it serves the needs of capital.

Having cheerfully used my HP all-in-one printer/scanner for several years, but with Windows, imagine my horror when simple printing and scanning started to require logging in to HP and installing tons of bullshit in order to simply print: HP has managed to fail at supporting Windows with any amount of competance. HP is concerned LEAST with a quality user experience - they are MUCH more interested in reminding me that one of my color toner cartridges is slightly lower than the others and BY the WAY: Can we ship you some more toner? (ad nauseum to boot). Screw HP and their intrusive nightmare that is Windows printing.

(This was in the early 90's and it was a school district's file server) so after a lot of fingerpointing and try this try that, I was dispatched to go and sit with the fileserver and watch it fail. So I drive for several hours to this school district headquarters, gaining access to the office where the server is around 9pm. I log in and it seems fine. I run basic diagnostics. All fine. I start to nod off and fell asleep for a time, to be awakened by the rattling of a custodian's cart, wheeling into the room. We exchange how do you do's and in the midst of my saying "pretty good", the custodian reaches behind the file server and unplugs it so he can vacuum the floors.

Long ago I signed up for Disney+. Later on I let that lapse. I then attempted to sign up for HULU but they insisted that I have a Disney+ account, and so, they get $ZERO
