I have to disagree. Or at least I am an outlier. I have been playing video games since pong (my school had a pinball machine (cost a dime!) and a pong cocktail table game in the HS student lounge and I would play every day after school (this is late 70s). During the 80s I lived in the local arcade, owned most every home console system (and still do plus all the ones in between). I have been playing video games for over 3 decades now. And I have been playing WoW pretty much since launch. I have been a hardcore raider and I have been a purely casual player ( and I currently sit somewhere in between). WoW makes plenty of sense to me, but then again, I also have an extensive pen and paper RPG background as well.
What part of 'Beta' did you not understand?
... after all, I did this in a RIFTS campaign years ago to set up a global communications network for our group
Yes.. I am a huge geek. Thanks for asking.
A reusable space vehicle which could be launched to retrieve or repair the satellite...
is that all? I have about 12,000 hours in World of Warcraft over the last 5 and a half years
I am still waiting for my Call of Duty: Grenada.
Actually we could get to the another solar system like Alpha Centari with current (either existing or in testing) technology, but it would take a while (like a century or two) and be almost 5 years before any data came back after that.
Sorry.. Tom Baker was the best Doctor... Troughton was good, too.
Tennant was ok, but only about #3 or #4 on the list... I put Tom Baker at #1, Patrick Troughton #2 and probably Tennant, but if he keeps up, Matt Smith might just take #3 or even the #2 spot.
I think the new Doctor will work out fine. He reminds me a bit of my favorite Doctor, Tom Baker (the 4th). And all through the new series with Eccleston and Tennant, there really wasn't a 'Fuck Yeah' moment (as far as I was concerned). This had that. I don't want to give anything away from those waiting for the BBC America showing, but you will know it when you see it.
As far as I am concerned, its not about the ad, its about the safety. I only block ads because they are a vector of infection. Can you guarantee that ads are safe? No? Then get off your self pretentious soapbox. If content costs so much, then the creator will either find an revenue stream that doesn't include ads (and honestly... this is 2010. Who clicks ads anymore) or they will fold.
Thats nice, but where is my x64 (NOT Linux) Flash? Its been 3 years Adobe!
