A few years ago, I kept my HTC in the "Magazine" Pocket in front of me on a long haul flight while I listed to podcasts.
I decided not to take a camera, as I wanted to pack light and my phone was sufficient.
I arrived in my destination country and was unable to take photos with any focus as I toured around on that device. Hours of Aeroplane buzz did it to mine. Same story, googled the problem and it was "Vibrations killed my camera"
Increasingly difficult to procure I intended.. Maybe I should pay attention to the "Preview" before I post.
Except for the increasingly difficult and in some cases never-eventuating physical media.
The number of times I've seen a mundane set, thought nothing of it, then watch a making of and noticed that most of where they are working was filled in later by the computer never fails to impress me.
Have they demonstrated that they want a walled garden, or have they demonstrated that they will accept a walled garden?
what's your excuse for it being $59K two weeks ago and augering into ground since?.
Me, I am the killer of all good things.
I had a good house, and then I tried some home improvements. A few weeks later, They needed redoing.
I had a good bike, and then I attempted an electric conversion. A few weeks later, I have a fried battery.
About a month ago, I had a good few hundred dollars which I dipped into various crypto currencies....

I didn't realise there was any other kind?
t's equally likely to be a "don't hurt me" brigade as it is an actual mob.
This is the best I have seen the justification/explanation of (mostly) online social causes articulated
Not recommend it you don't like politics in your shows though.
IDK, Kelley definitely has a liberal bent, but he always gives his conservative characters fair hearing and frequently even a great deal of nobility and genuine conviction.
This is one thing I liked about Boston Legal. I remember once James Spader's character defending a racist(?) parents right to raise his kids how he saw fit - There were a number of occasions where respecting freedom of speech and personal liberty above all else; even though contentious or potentially abhorrent were a big part of the story.
Oh yes, We are rather fucked should any volcanoes decide they want to pop up and let off some steam.
As an Aucklander, who has felt 2 very short and minor Earthquakes in my 40+ years I can say they aren't common for all of us and if a "real" one ever hit here, the panic would be astronomical
Now, If we could get Perseverance to meet up with Curiosity, NASA could race them.
I know I would
This. Unsupported is one thing, but adding a timebomb is another.
At least some of us have locked in time sandboxes to play in.
I can't believe we will get there anytime soon. Especially without Tesla and the like getting some sort of legal immunity.
Take the responsibility off the driver, and you have the manufacturer to blame for incidents.
You think recalls for cars are bad now? I forsee fleets shut down and (as autonomous) for large periods at a time as new bugs are found and patches are developed and tested before being released.
