Multi-level nonsense:
1. There's no reason to ban transgender males or females from competing in whichever chess tournaments they so desire.
2. There's no reason for sex segregation in chess in the first place.
3. Gender ID ideology is a total crock.

The issue is not the average intelligence of men and women. The average intelligence is the same. That's not the issue, because average intelligence people don't win or even rank high in chess tournaments. It's the outliers on the exceptional side of the bell curve who win. The distribution of outliers for men is not the same as it is for women. There's more exceptional male players than there are exceptional women players.

What is normal? Who decides what is normal? I don't agree with the behavior of the protesters at the U.S. Capitol, but I do agree with their right to hold their opinions.

I can't help but notice that the social media companies are strongly biased in the direction of leftist politics, politics which I don't agree with because I have seen the damage that leftist politics have caused to the human species beginning with the French Reign of Terror.

I can see this behavior by twitter as an attempt to quash conservative beliefs systems from being expressed to a large audience, something that I object to.

I don't have the resources to start my own social media platform, but I will join such a social media platform that I am convinced is not anti-science, anti-conservative when it becomes available.

Until then, I will refrain from expressing any political opinions on any social media as it's pointless trying to have a dialog with leftists who reject conclusions that are drawn from statistics that contradict their leftist belief system in favor of their leftist belief system.

It is easier to write obfuscated code intentionally or not in perl, because is a language without seat belts. It's design and philosophy does not encourage clarity of code. On the contrary, it encourages people to try out multiple ways of solving the same problem with no way to quantify why one method is any better than another.

Try writing that code in python and see how hard it is to even think about how you would implement it in python, whereas in perl any perl guru could have done it. THAT'S THE POINT.

About 15 years or so ago I was in a debate with a friend as to which language was better for programming, perl (there's more than I way to do it) or python (yes, and there is a right way to do it!)? My argument came down to this: you can read python and have some chance of understanding what the code is doing.

My friend argued that the same was true of perl. I shook my head with a sad, slow motion and said "No. Here's why you're wrong. Here's a perl script; tell me what it does:"

Dear reader, are you a perl coder? Can you figure out what this does? Hint: it's about 99 bottles of beer.

So for those people who think perl is as good as any other language, all I can say is that it's clear to me that if you believe this is true, then you're not someone whose job is to maintain perl code written by others. Anyone who has to maintain perl code written by others is motivated to learn another language that is not so hospitable to Code Cowboy.

You are correct. That is what communists ostensibly believe. That's why we have a welfare state and a political party that has to been trying to increase the welfare state and the dependency of people upon it. I am telling you they do believe that the USA has a serious racism problem. That's why for the past month we've seen protests and riots and CHAZ in Seattle and a movement for not reforming but abolishing the police. It's in the interests of the communists to remove the police so they can stand up their own police as they did in CHAZ.

And the president is mocking them by demonstrating how absurd their belief system is. I don't care if they find it funny. What I care about is how easy it is to identify the communists by their reaction to the video. It makes it much, much easier to see them for what they are.
