snack's Journal: Another week has come and gone

So... as the title states, another week has come and gone... Things have happened *shrug* some good some bad. I'm typing this on my parents laptop, and as much as i like the portability of it... the touchpad keeps moving the cursor around and messing with my typing, that and i guess that i'm typing too fast, 'cause when i really get going the laptop beeps at me like *WHOAH THERE PARTNER* that and it just attempted to delete my whole paragraph here by highlighting everything, and my typing so fast, i just went over everything... I love you too Dell Laptop from hell. :)

So school has started back up, which i'm pretty excited about. The classes this time around have more people my age, so i'm actually meeting some people, and being sociable. I have 2 classes this 2nd summer semester, they're each 2 hours long, which isnt too terribly bad. The teachers seem pretty nice, and give us short breaks. I'm getting out a little more as well, The drive to my morning class is about 30 to 40 mins, which gets me outside into the TEXAS HEAT (i really dont mind it). I'm developing a "Drivers Tan" too.. hehe. The teachers in the classes seem to know what they're talking about, unlike what happened with my computer course last semester. Although the 2nd day of class my math teacher was WAY off his rocker, apparently he's on some sort of medication, i sincerely hope that he doesnt forget to take it again. If you're reading this, message me, and i'll tell you what happened.

I didnt work last weekend, so nothing really new has happened on the working front. I had taken last weekend off to relax between the semesters. A well needed break. Although when i went into work to check my schedule people looked at me funny like i didnt work there any more. But according to the schedule, i'm working at 5:00 tomorrow.

I've decided that i'm going to start taking my digital camera places that i go and just take random pictures of things that i see. Hopefully this wont get me into any trouble, but i think it'd be kind of fun to archive those sorts of things. Maybe put them up on the internet or something, who knows. Dabble in some B&W, see how that goes. I took a photography course when i was in highschool.... It was pretty fun, i'm thinking about taking one in college. Developing the film was fun in the course, but i really enjoyed making the prints with the photosensitive paper, making everything come out as i saw it when i opened the shutter for a fraction of a second oh so long ago.

I've been listening to the song "Days go by" by dirty vegas lately. Like 4 or 5 different versions that i've found online. The acoustic version is incredibly cool... as well as the extended version. The video for the song is pretty cool too, i like the story that they're telling. If you dont know what i'm speaking of, ask me and i'll direct you to places to download these files. The radio stations out here are doing an incredible job of out playing 2 decent songs. One station is playing the song "Sweetness" by Jimmy Eat World. Like every 30 freakin' minutes they're playing this song. I really like it, but jeeze guys, not quite that much. Another station is outplaying the new Eminem single "Without Me". Sure it's getting a little old, but it's still pretty funny. But every 45 minutes? I was listening to it when i went into one of my classes, and when i came out to drive home, it was on again.. pretty much at the same point when i turned it off.
