aridhol's Journal: Half done

Just found out that the junior ranks club has internet access.

The course is going well; 14 men on Naval Combat Systems, and 1 woman on Marine Engineering. We're hoping we'll be more-or-less together when we get to MUN.

It's been a change in lifestyle getting here. From what I've been told, it gets even more interesting when I get to boot camp, but nothing I wasn't expecting anyway.

I have an inspection tomorrow, and boots to shine, so I'm not going to spend much time online tonight. I'll try to get online this weekend, but there are only three computers for the 600 people in this area of the base. If I don't get online before then, I'll be in Newfoundland in a week and a half.

and we still don't have a computer for every 10 soldiers. I've been in barracks in 3 different training facilities and only 1 had a computer and that computer wasn't even set up. Good to hear your still alive, and give me a call when you get a chance!
