Zaranne's Journal: Day two...of a thousand thousand days...

Okay, so for some reason, I finally figured out that getting plastered all weekend long is not a good thing. So, I'm taking the sobriety oath, dumped out all the JD in the house (sorry whiskey lovers), and am trying to start life anew. I'm tired of the pain and depression that goes along with alcoholism, not too mention the incredible cost my DUI has been. So...day two of sobriety.

And Kashani, sobriety doesn't suck...but Johnny Cash does still rock...

Whie I admire your commitment to sobriety, dumping out JD is an unconcionable commission of alcohol abuse. Ya should have donated it to the needy :-)

As for me, I'm too poor to have a drinking problem. Can't stand to drink cheap booze and can't afford to buy the good stuff in any quantity. Do you have any idea how much REALLY good scotch costs? Sublime stuff, but it's like drinking liquid gold.

I know, I know, it was awful dumping it out. But at least it wasn't a bottle of Jameson! That would have been forever heartbreaking.

And I'm now on Day 8! Yippee!
