SWEEEET!!!!! The title is:

Revenge of the Sith (RotS)

That shit is awesome!!! I'm unbelievably siked for this to come out. Yeah, if you are new to my journal, you'll know that I *love* everything SW (yes, including Ep I and II and yes, I even like Jar Jar... deal with that shit!!)

Oooh oh yeah, full weekend recap coming up. Which includes a new car purchase for Tracy and a trip to the beach.

UPDATE: yeah, I rule pretty much. I beat the FP by 20 minutes breaking this news. Suckers!

I know everytime I hear someone say, "The movie would have been so much better if..." or, "What he SHOULD have done is..." I feel like saying, "Then why don't you make your own movie and CONTRIBUTE something, instead of being a freaking critic!"

That reminds me of what Piers Anthony did in his Xanth novels, which were chock full of puns. There was a creature called a Cri-tick, that survived by sucking blood from creative people. They couldn't exist on their own and never produced anything themselves. :-)

hell, I was pretty pro for PM even after Greedo shot first and the ending of RotJ being changed. But after seeing it I was just left with a... eh, flavor in my mouth. Its similar to what I've felt about the last two Bond movies. I'm a big Bond guy. I even find the shittier Moore ones like Moonraker (LAASErS!) and Man with the Golden Gun to be fun. But PM and AotC, like Die Another Day and The World is Not Enough were just so vanilla as to have no flavor.

That's exactly what I've always wanted for the title of EpIII, ever since I heard that the title of "Revenge of the Jedi" was changed to "Return of the Jedi" because Lucas realized "revenge" wasn't a Jedi thing.

It's just the logical mirror image of the title "Return of the Jedi."

This bodes well. Given the massive improvement between EpI and EpII, and now this remarkably sensible move, I've got high hopes that - even though it took 3 movies to do it - Lucas might have finally gotten back into the zeitgeist

man, if you had either a PC or an xbox, i'd say you should check out knights of the old republic. what a great game. i just checked out transgaming, and apparently it works in linux if you run winex. i'm stoked for sith lords to come out.
