Wow, when Fox News is running stories like this, you know things are getting really bad.

I don't actually expect Bush to do anything about Rumsfeld, but when pundits as blatantly biased as O'Reilly are calling for his head, maybe, just maybe, it might be time for the Bush adminstration to pull their head out of the sand and listen.

      I agree with you. Private English should be turned over to the Iraqi Provincial government for punishment, rather than a US military court. That way the Iraqi people would feel that justice has been done. There is only one problem with this: Under muslim law, wouldn't she be put to death for commiting sexual acts outside of wedlock?
      • I think rape is a bit much. And I must admit, I think Muslim law is barbaric (but I think the same of Christian law, so there) and I hope Iraq doesn't adopt it. But spending 15-30 years in an Iraqi prison sounds about right. On the other hand, rape does meet a need for vengence.

        Attractive, but wrong. On the other hand, that would be why she would be turned over. I'm not sure. Does it change anything that she's a mother?

          Both Muslim law and Christian law are barbaric. Under both sets of laws she would probably be put to death. Most likely by public stoning or something equally brutal.

          I don't really think so. We don't let mothers get away with crimes in this country, so the penalty should probably be the same. What do you think about sending
