My next book just went to the printer yesterday:
Publisher site should eventually have the TOC and a sample chapter, when they get their act together.
Note: Amazon link has my associate thingy for extra flavor.
The first copies should be back from the printer in a week or so. If Amazon is up to their usual standards, then they should show stock in about a month.
Bookpool is usually a bit better.
This book is fiction, a bit different than the typical tech book.

In which case, can you have a word with whoever does the SecurityFocus web site? I mean, it's much better than it used to be, but it's still painfully slow, to the point of being effectively unusable a lot of the time. I don't know if it's just that you need a bigger pipe, faster web servers, or an alternative choice of software for doing the dynamic parts of the site. But it's reaching the point where SF is becoming irreleva

Yes, people have pretty much been complaining about the web site since the beginning of the company. The hardware and colocation was my job at one point. The hardware used to be way underpowered. We'd get Slashdotted, and be gone all day.
I think the current problem is the site design. I don't think they think it's a problem, though, so I wouldn't count on it being changed.
