Journal bofkentucky's Journal: Helping Bush and Republicans win 11

I posit that clicking through on any ad banner for John Kerry or liberal inclined groups could be beneficial by slowly siphoning away their war chest(s). Thoughts and comments appreciated. Not advocating massive automated hits, but just open a new tab if you see one out there to help shut these idiots up.

Helping Bush and Republicans win

  • Considering that the ads are most likely funded via MoveOn or one of those other organizations I doubt it'll hurt Kerry much. Esp if he is circumventing election finance laws via these groups as the Republicans have accused him.

What the click thrus will do is allow MoveOn & Co. to say they've gained #-clicks more supporters in their idiocy, most likely.
    • And then when they go into the election claiming that they have 500 million supporters (out of a total population of 300 million...), they'll wonder why Kerry didn't get something approaching that number of votes. :-)
    • Soft, outside funding is supposed to be non-coordinated with the campaign now, if Moo-ven has an ad that says bush suxx0rs, Kerry r0xx0rs, they will be in violation of the McCain/Feingold bill, bottom line. As for moo-ven/Kerry claiming more support, dollars contributed per ad will decrease, making them believe it is an ineffectual means of reaching voters, hopefully. Like I said, don't go DOS flooding the kerry campaign site, but if you see an ad, just go, loiter around, waste their time and money.
  • Sure, I rail against the right quite frequently. But does this stuff really need to be so competitive and ugly? What ever happened to decorum and fairness? Or are those concepts just too outmoded thee days? (I'm not saying that the left can't be venomous either...)
    • I don't work for either party, I would just like to see Kerry not have enough cash to flood the airwaves come October when I'm actually watching TV, as opposed to this summer when I have better things to do in the evenings.

Oh, I don't know...why don't you try putting that question to John Kerry, Howard Dean, Terry McAuliffe, Hillary Clinton (and her hubby too), Jimmy Carter, George Soros, the gang at moveon.org, etc.?
