After constant bugging and being frustrated at how slashdot is a proprietary business trying to pretend that they are a "free" website has paid its toll.

I don't care.

I'm done whining, I'm done complaining.

I'm going to submit stories like I used to, and comment about the stories and ignore the crap behind the scenes.

Submitting stories to slashdot's submission queue, and posting comments and journal entries is what is making this place popular! (Yes, I realize the irony that I am indeed posting more right now).

If you're sick of Slashdot's claims of 'free' and 'open', please, do more work on your own site. I like marotti.com. It's unabashadly YOUR site, and you've made it clear that you won't tolerate crapflooding and awful trolls and flamebait being posted to your website. If you post the same amount of stories you have given to slashdot to your own site, I for sure won't be going to slashdot for anything but the controversies and latest innovative PWP's. ;)

BTW, are we no longer allowed to post as AC into people's journals? The checkbox is curiously missing on this journal's "comments.pl" page....
