Journal pholower's Journal: The Slashdot Backlash

It has occured to me after viewing a few articles release in the past couple of days that it does not matter what the content of the reply is, if you do it quickly, it will be modded up.

This seems to be a rather bad way of going about things. If the moderating system is to get any better, they should hold of on modding new posts for 10 minutes, this is when the big flood of comments are made.

Better comments should then be rewarded and horribly bad, "it will all be better if you put linux in it", "my grandmother uses Linux," "SCO Sucks," should be modded down.

But of course I am trying to live in a perfect world and that will not happen any time soon, even if Kernel Version 4 were to come out in the next month. Seeing how it has been over ten years since Kernal 1.0 and they are only on 2.6 I don't think this will be happening anytime soon.
