absolute responsibility, granted many a user mods up for subscriptions and karma, my posts can start for many people at a +3.

Being such a high mod puts me to a higher responsibility, or at the very least the necessity to decide how dumb a post of mine really is, and just voluntarily forfeit my karma and/or subscriber bonuses, or even to post anonymously (which I occasionally do).

I think it really should be, at my level to moderate myself more and more nowadays, and evaluate what I would give such a post.

Does this mean I should just stop posting dumb stuff altogether? Naaah, part of posting is saying something that the Slashdot community might be interested in, and some of it is venting, rambling with a little explaining mixed in.
