ESPN.com has just sent women's sports in the USA to a new low. If you click on the US-centric version of ESPN.com's soccer coverage, a pop-under appears. Now, ESPN's been using pop-unders for years, but this isn't an ad. It's their Women's World Cup page. The only rationale I can think of for this is that someone at ESPN.com decided that they weren't getting enough hits for all the WWC crap they were shoving down our throats, so they had to cram it even deeper.
