Ever wonder why not as many people own Mac versus PC? Do you own a Hilti? Do you even know what a Hilti product is? If you're a PC owner, that's why you don't own a Mac; you don't need one.

I haven't wondered often, but your analogy is good. I do not own a hilti gun (my mother does though). if ever i am in need of serious fastening, i'll get one. as for computers, well, i own a mac.

Yeah, and it illustrates my point. I noticed while watching a Star Wars Episode II documentary that everyone had TiBooks when they were in meetings with George. And that was 2001. Those were (are) just tools of the trade.

Not everyone at ILM used Mac for day-to-day animation, but for sure, not a single Microsoft pixel was on the screen in the documentary.

And it got me thinking how we rarely used Black & Decker tools at the contracting firm I worked for way back in the day.
