AssFace's Journal: the virus

The virus is on Symantec here, http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/[e-mail] - apparently it exploits Kazaa and a few other routes - one of them being e-mail. It exploits a bug in IE 5 and 5.5 that then allows it to be automatically run in Outlook and Outlook Express when opened or even previewed.

There have been a series of patches ever since 2001 that fix that issue - but judging from the large volume of these dumbass messages that I'm getting, people are retarded and both not patched and installing these things.
