I was just offered an upgrade in position here at work to become a full-fledged daytime systems administrator with a healthy little raise. My boss went out on a limb and insisted on having me over the guy they wanted to hire from outside, despite some argument from his superiors. I'm a wreck of nerves and excitement over getting to do more interesting work and a fear of totally screwing up - I feel like I could vomit all over my desk! Wheeeeeeee!
