Rudy Rodarte's Journal: Just waiting

Well, just the other day, I went in for an Examination for another job. They said it would take a month to grade the test!! Once they get the results back, I will need to go in to take another test. This time, it will be an oral test, more like an interview. Lets just hope the call me back.
Well, my boss' boss called me and asked me about applying for other jobs. She asked if I was happy with my current job and how much longer I'd be at Dell. I told her that what I do is OK, but its not what I went to school for. I know that many people go into other fields once they graduate, but I dont want to spin my wheels doing tech support much longer. If this other job doesnt work out for X or Y reason, hopefully this OCP that I'm working on will.
Lets just see how the ball bounces.

Everyone in my department is moving about, to other positions. But, its just like Titanic, when the life boats were all gone: Everyone is scrambling to move somewhere else on the boat. What I need is a helicopter to come and get me.
