Journal E-Rock-23's Journal: A Small, Profound Moment

With everything going the way it is in my life (such as the band), tonight seemed kinda nifty. I was driving home from my bass player's house, and I decided to take an out of the way route. It being Memorial Day and all, the cops would be out in force. On the home stretch, I was coming out of Pacific and about to hit West Moshannon (where I live), going up over the top of the ridge that seperates Houtzdale and Brisbin.

At the top of the ridge road, the low level clouds were just above the roof of my car, with full visibility straight ahead underneath. Not often this happens to me, so I decided to get out spend a moment checking it out.

When I got out of the car and stood up, the cloud level stopped just above my eyes, covering the top of my head. I'm 6'3", so the cloud was more or less 6' off the ground. It was then that I saw a bit of symbolism in the situation.

At that very moment, my head was in the clouds, and my feet were planted on the ground.

With the way the old saying goes and the way things are going now, it almost seems there's an exception to that rule.

Adult Swim has Lupin III back on. Later, I'm missing a funny show...
