Journal PReDiToR's Journal: UBER drop appeal in York, England

In the UK UBER is classed as a Private Hire cab company and their drivers have to go through the same tests as any cab driver. UBER were refused a renewal of their licence to operate in York back in December because of the massive data breach and how they kept it quiet instead of being open about it, and the number of complaints.
On the 14th of March they dropped the appeal against this decision, potentially opening the way for every Licensing Authority in the UK to suspend and revoke their licence.
Is this the end of the road for the multi-billion dollar cab giant in the UK? Is it really uber and out?
