I thought progress was supposed to go from "old and busted" to "new hotness", not "old mediocrity" to "new and busted"...

Amazingly, /. renders better under Opera than MSIE, though FireFox seems to be supported best. I can't find half my stuff, everything is left-justified and fonts are ugly. Another nail in the coffin, I guess.

The browser from Norway generally seems to work better as time goes on, even if specific webdevs ignore it. I have an old dual pII 266 that I still sometimes boot up. With a solid "classic" version of Opera installed - 9.27. Many webpages, particularly after major redesigns, seem to work better in it recently - despite obviously not targeting such old release (and probably no release of Opera at all)

As I have my Amigos feed plugged into Google Reader, and prefer reading that on the iPad, I get a whole extra layers of f'd layout compared to viewing on PC or laptop.
