Astropiss disses ISS

  • THIS is one of the reasons for having the ISS up there. I know it's a funny topic, but there are a lot of nitty-gritty problems like this that just don't get solved until you actually try. The ISS comes under so much fire for being useless and over budget, and by some perspectives it is both. But it is also the biggest orbital engineering experiment we've ever tried. Some have said that we've learned, the Soviets had already learned on their space stations, but I really don't think so - there's a signif

If they are losing calcium, and the filter system seems to be able to collect it readily, they need to recycle it. They already drink the recycled whizz, so popping the recycled calcium back in should be about as easy.

The real next step is to figure out how to avoid the bone loss, though, but so far, even with exercise machines, etc, it still occurs. Maybe they really do need those slow spinning stations t
