Journal zogger's Journal: Arm netbooks 2
Happened to see my first (in meatspace) Arm chip netbook yesterday at kmart. A delstar for 150 bucks, which doesn't seem that bad at all. Running WinCE, though, not some sort of low budget Linux. Not *quite* the hundred buck computer in a blisterpack, but by this time next year, they'll be here.

Why would ANYONE bring out a platform with no applications, at least without the applications that people want to use?
That's supposed to be irony, because it's the argument used against Linux. Except that in the non-x86 marketplace, Linux is about the only one out their that even has any sort of decently rich selection of applications.
