  • Most of these sites witch serve as nothing more than a PR function (static pages with assurances that the government is there to make life better for everyone) should just be turned over to mega companies like Google or Microsoft and not connected in any way with truly sensitive data that certainly does reside at those agencies somewhere.

    Government workers don't do weekends (except the military) and certainly not holiday weekends, and the consulting firms that support those agencies fall into the same patte

    • Try not to malign all government workers as lazy. Most corporate workers don't do weekends either. I work for the State of New Mexico, I'm on call 24/7 and work weekends whenever I'm asked to. Finally, what makes you think any of these servers were connected to anything important? You imply they were, all part of your 'all government is bad government' philosophy. If government does it, it must be bad, right? Privatize everything, that's the solution! Because everyone in government is a lazy money grubbing
