Dawkins is an arrogant and contemptuous dork (Score:1)
A man so sure of himself, that it creates a black-hole of a blind-spot. It sucks in all perception, not already a part of his conviction. You know. Like an Ayatollah.
That said, banning him is poppycock. The OK idiot's proposition is so weak, that it requires the banning of contrary figures - to the point of taking legally dubious and extraordinary measures.

Heh, sorry 'bout that. I never even heard of the guy before this. Could have been one of those flat earth people as far as I know. By the time I got up off the floor, I had already hit the save button. I'm not trying to defend him per se. Since the truth is boring and will never win an election, I'm counting on ridicule to do the job of shaming the people that vote for these bozos. I suppose I could save myself a bunch of trouble and just link to RG's journals.

I didn't think you were supporting Dawkins. He is a good scientist, and a bad theologian.
He is the standard bearer of 'new atheism', which seems to mean doctrinary absolutism about the falsehood of all religious or mystical matters.
