reddit is carrying a post right now wherein PLoS and Nature are inviting the world to help with their peer review process. Which gets me to thinking: what all out there is there for people who have spare time/etc to help out with Science?

Folding@Home / BOINC / FoldIt
PLoS peer review moderation, and for that matter, slashdot/reddit moderation in science topics
Astronomy peer helping/birdwatching
(edit) the Dijkstra archive needs transcription help

I might expand/add to this list later.
