erica_ann's Journal: Google Chrome Download

Well, I could have sworn I wrote this yesterday - Twice - in my journal, but it still has not shown up. So, I will try to write this a third time.

I downloaded Chrome about Five minutes after it was released on Google's site at http://www.google.com/chrome

I spent all day using it, testing it, working on my websites with it. There has been only one problem I ran into. It was the way it made the text show up on some MySpace Pages. I added a couple of pictures to some of my sites to show what I was seeing.

Other than that, so far so good.

I like being able to drag and drop the order of the tabs at the top.
I like having more clearance to see websites (none of the bars on top or bottom except a short navi bar)
I like the fact that so far it displays CSS correctly
I like the start up page where it shows your most visited sites and lets you choose if you want to go there - similar to Operas opening page

For me, it seems now what a browser should have been all along. It works best for what I use it for - website creation and editing. Though, i still have to test in all other browsers - just so I know that the websites I create are viewed in other browsers.
