Journal BaverBud's Journal: Thoughts about sound system
Well, I was thinking that I should probably put something in this journal. May as well make it useful then:
We have a portable sound system at school for our Vocal Jazz groups. Since we are a highschool, and have pathetically low funding (I have to beg to but 4 new TRS -> TRS and XLR -> TRS cords) (that would be about $80 CA), we can't afford things like compressors etc. (we have eq's, processor, and a very _bad_ effects generator, and a feedback desroyer [behringer]). In anyone's oppinion, what would be the best thing to rent to improve the quality of the sound? I'm thinking compressors already, but I'm not sure if there is anything that would be worthwhile.
Also, does anyone know of something that could be put around a cord to get rid of RFI?
