Jack William Bell's Journal: Four days, five hours, sixteen minutes to go!

I have my ticket to the midnight show, 12:01 AM next Tuesday. I can't wait!

Even frame by frame analyses of the previews don't help. I gotta bad LoTR jones and I can't get a fix.

I'm really, really, really hopeful that there will be a Two Towers preview tonight before Nemesis...

It's nice to be excited about a movie again. I haven't been excited about a movie since the re-release of Star Wars in theatres a few years back.

Nemesis, all the critics are panning it right now. I was talking to some friends in the local SF club and we basically agreed that:

1. It is probably going to suck
2. We are all going to go see it anyway, and then complain bitterly about how it sucks
3. The people making it know it sucks, know we will go see it anyway, know we will complain
4. And don't give a damn, because they will have our money -- so they will make another one (at this point you loop from step 1)

So, this is it for the Nextgen movies I hear. What comes after? Deep Space Nine?

Very sacrey how right you are.

1. It sucked.
2. I saw it and then complained.
3. Berman and Spinner know it sucks
4. They have my $7.50 and are laughing right now.

My only solace is the fact that Two Towers comes out in 4 days.
