  • Never even knew about it. The quick look I took at Groovy seems pretty interesting... simpler language running on Java. I'll have to dig in a bit.

      Grails is based on Spring so if you are a Spring developer it should be very easy to pick up. It was initially modeled on Rails as the name might imply but it has begun to drift away from the original Rails based designs. This could be good or bad as the case may be. It is by far the easiest way for a LAMP developer to break into Java web development.
