I missed more folks in my next to previous entry.

All those who have not posted here recently, and are on my friend list. Even you dopes with multiple accounts (like the Finn) are included in the post immediatelty previous to the one just in front of this one.

I forgot Ellem. How'd that happen.
I'd say I forgot railgunner, but at least he posts about America's boring past-time. (Go Indians .. I hate the Yankees too much to cheer for them even in jest, unless it's the old Aztec courtball way. Yay! you won! Now let's sacrifice you to the gods in your glory. What? Gods don't want losers)

  • I miss all the people that didn't move to multiply. Some of them are still here, and I see the journals, but it is not the same as it was. And it seems like around the same time some people just drifted off to other parts of the web or off the web altogether.

    Although /. is not a social networking site, I feel that they should have (and still should) added more social site features, to better foster community and to keep people from moving away. But I doubt Taco could be convinced.

      I checked, and myslashdot.com is taken.

      So is facedot.com, slashbook.com, slashface.com, youslash.com, slashtube.com, slashfeed.com, etc ...

      However, if you want to do a multiply + slashdot thingie, multislash.com is expired, and on December 1st, its out of the redemption period

    • Well, if he reads this, and he probably won't - I think /. as a social site is somewhat worthwhile. I don't want to see pictures of people or pictures in general while I am at work. And having a good chat system is nice even on small discussions. Throw in one look and feel that the user can't change and it is really quite nice.
